Don’t worry, your mess is safe with me. I don’t judge you by your
clutter, and my services are completely confidential. There is no need to
tidy up before we meet. In fact, I can assess your space and needs more
accurately by observing how you function in it day-to-day.
What do I need to do before we meet?
Make a commitment to utilize our time together to the fullest. Your
participation is crucial because this is your project. Be prepared to focus on
the task at hand by keeping outside distractions to a minimum. Be ready to
dive in.
How long will my project take?
Unlike some popular TV shows, organizing takes more than just 30 minutes.
The time required to complete a project depends on the size and scope of the
project, and your motivation level.
How often will we meet?
That depends on your needs. Do you want someone working beside you all
the way, or do you want to do “homework assignments,”? We will proceed
at a pace that meets your needs and budget. I provide consulting and/or
hands-on organizing to help you meet your goal.
Who decides what I keep or toss?
You make all the decisions. I will guide you through the process, but I will
never make you get rid of anything. We'll come up with a plan to keep
what's important to you.
What if I need help in other areas?
I can help you acquire other professional services such as a handyman or a
painter. I can also recommend colleagues who specialize in finances,
computers, or estate organizing. Whatever your project entails, I'll help you
handle it.
I'm not an organized person. Can I learn to be organized?
Absolutely! Organizing is a skill and it can be learned. Part of my job is to
teach you the principles and methods of organization so that you can put
your new skills to work in your home or office.
