I have lived in California my entire life, and in
Sonoma County since 2003. We moved here
after my husband's employer "shuffled" the
company. With the second of our two children
heading off to college, we settled into a house
that was smaller than the one we had
previously owned. Let the downsizing begin -
It was time to put my organizing skills to the
test.
Fortunately, I have always loved to organize,
and enjoy a challenge. Once we settled into
our new home, I started to think about
employment. Then it hit me: why not do what
I really love? Organize! I joined NAPO,
enrolled in organizational and design classes,
and started working alongside a veteran
organizer. A new career was born.
My previous career - twenty years as a
hairdresser in the same salon - had been
difficult to leave, because I really enjoy
working with people. I'm happy to have found
a new calling that allows me to do just that. I
find it very rewarding to help clients overcome
"overwhelm" and move toward a more simple
and productive life.
I love living in this beautiful area and exploring
my new surroundings. Our children are close
by, and we enjoy spending family time
together playing card games. My interests
include travel, (and dreaming about travel),
camping, cooking, doing home improvement
projects, and volunteering in my community
and in my church.

...Carol provided excellent help in accomodating the many boxes of stuff from our old home to the much smaller confines of our new home. She was of particular help in guiding me through the sorting process. She did a fabulous job with my kitchen and bathrooms by adding pull-out organizers and plate racks. She's very handy with a drill! Carol saved me lots of time and frustration; she was worth every penny. -- Linda B.
